Newcomers and returning guests alike are welcome to attend this second event, focused around the programming and performance of sequencers and MIDI enabled electronic instruments and tools.

Join us for a meet-and-greet, followed by a 20-30 minute demonstration by Erik Berger on the primary techniques used in creating beats, syncing the internal clocks of two or more instruments, using a MIDI-enabled device to control the output of a secondary device, as well as a short explanation about using MIDI to use your keyboard or sequencer as a DAW controller for home recording and music production.

After that, we will take some time to experiment with the equipment we have and get some hands-on experience and advice! Erik will be bringing the following equipment: Korg ES-1mkii, Yamaha Reface CP, and a Volca FM and Volca Bass. Feel free to bring your own gear, and invite a friend, however space is limited so please sign up as soon as possible.

Let’s enjoy this time to learn about our instruments and their capabilities in a relaxed environment, and to share each other’s musical and technological aspirations together.

シークエンサーとMIDI対応の電子楽器、ツールのプログラミングとパフォーマンスに焦点を当てたこの2回目のイベントは初めての方もリピーターの方も大歓迎です。

ミートアンドグリートに参加後、MIDI対応デバイスを使用しての出力制御、ビートの作成、２つ以上の楽器の内部クロックの同期に使用されるメインテクニックについてエリック・バーガーによる20〜30分のデモンストレーションを行います。セカンダリーデバイスの概要と、MIDIを使用しキーボードまたはシークエンサーをホームレコーディング及び音楽制作用のDAWコントローラーとして使用する方法についても簡単にご説明します。

そのあとは、私たちが持っている機器を実際に試してみましょう! エリックは、Korg ES-1mkii,Yamaha Reface CP,Volca FMとVolcaBassを持参する予定です。皆さんもご自分のものをお持ち頂いてもOKですし、お友達とのご参加もぜひ♪会場のスペースには限りがありますので、お早めに参加のお申し込みを。
