In this talk, I will share my experience with the Nix package manager, a tool that enables us to define reproducible environments that can be seamlessly integrated with CI/CD and container environments. This talk will delve into why container images have limitations when it comes to reproducibility, how the Nix package manager functions, how Nix can increase team productivity, and upcoming tools that simplify the complexity of Nix and make it more accessible to all.
